i made a thread once about a couple of guys in my class who were speculating.. if you have a pretty large circle in, say an image editor like paint, and you zoom in on the bottom of the circle, you'll be able to see a straight line if it's only a few pixels long. so if the diameter of the circle is infinite, would the circle then turn into a straight line?

they're playing on the fact that there is a lot the human brain doesn't understand. a lot of things that we think of in certain ways, well, our thoughts are illusions which are a result of the restrictions of being a human being.

this nonsense is wack and to answer your question properly, no, i do not understand why anyone would believe this.
