The book of bling?

Bling: The Hip-Hop Jewellery Book will be released this October by authors Reggie Ossa and Gabriel Tolliver. The book details the history, significance and influence of bling across the history of hip-hop.

“The book is basically a look at all things bling. It’s a piece of cultural anthropology. Bling is an element of hip-hop culture, and it announces that you’ve arrived,” said Gabriel Tolliver.

“I hope that people get an appreciation for what bling is and what it represents to our culture. It signifies aspiring to the good life through your jewellery, and hopefully it will convince people to do just that," Tolliver said.

“We’re trying to show the connection to pop culture and hip-hop culture and the influences that are upon us whether we know it or not, and jewellery is one of them,” added co-author Reggie Ossa.

The book, will feature the works of jewellers such as Tito and Manny, Avianne & Co., and Arsham A. Salam who have made pieces for artists including Slick Rick, Jam Master Jay, Lil’ Kim, Tupac Shakur, Fifty Cent, Paul Wall, Kanye West and Fat Joe.

Bling: The Hip-Hop Jewellery Book is released October 31st.

This guy can't be serious. This is the most ridiculous thing ever and shows the depth the rap game's in right now. Can't be mad though, we should all just laugh at the rappers and the game right now caus like Masta Ace said: the rap game is a circus.
