The Big Summer Transfer Thread

He will flop.

Yes he will. And the good thing is, if he will, he won't be selected for Oranje anymore. **shakes head while thinking back at the missed chance against Portugal**

^Yup, if he passes his medical he'll be a Chelsea player.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has moved to increase his defensive options by agreeing a fee with Hamburg for defender Khalid Boulahrouz.
The Blues chief has had a frustrating summer on the defensive front, as William Gallas is hankering after a move away from Stamford Bridge and Arsenal have refused to budge in their valuation of Ashley Cole.
The Portuguese seems set to ease his woes a little by swooping for Dutch international Boulahrouz.
The defender proved a key figure for Hamburg last term, having joined the German club in the summer of 2004 from RKC Waalwijk, and he increased his stock at the World Cup finals.
It could well have been his no-nonsense displays this summer which persuaded Mourinho to make his move, as the two clubs have concurred on a fee.
Boulahrouz will miss Hamburg's trip to Energie Cottbus on Saturday, as he has been given permission to head to London to discuss personal terms and have a medical.

HSV is definately gonna beome champion this year. With Boulahrouz and Van Buyten they lost their whole defense. They got no strikers either...

They should get at least one good striker as fast they could. They have just two draws from the first two games in Bundesliga. I don't think that they have bad defense despite the loss of these two defenders. Werder and Bayern will go head to head for the title since Shalke and HSV failed to provide stronger squad this season.

I meant they're not gonna become champion ofcourse....
The 2 matches they played were really bad. Cottbus was the better team. So I think you're right about Werder and Bayern. Schalke is going 4 a disappointing season again.

yeah i thought the same thing...

Since Barbarez left (who was their playmaker), they started selling shit...

Barbarez' departure could be covered by van der Vaart, but they sold everyone...

As for the strikers they have a few good young ones... Including Mustafa Kucukovic (a bosnian/german 19 year old..) he's good, but needs 2 more years to become realy good...

The defence is a swiss cheese now.

(i follow HSV really closely so i know what im talking about)

Yeah, but Barca look awesome vs Espanyol and the likes of Zambrotta, Van Bommel, Thuram, Saviola, Iniesta, Guily, Gudjohnson were on the bench.

Stilian Petrov from Celtic FC has just been transfered to Aston Villa.

David Beckham has extended his stay at Real Madrid.

Ljubojevic of Dinamo Zagreb has been transfered to FC Genk

Thomas Gravesen has gone to Celtic from Real Madrid

The rumours continue about Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, both of whom could be Premiership-bound.
