The best sports car in the world.... ever!

Correct, money isn't water for the majority of us, and if this applies to you, then you shouldn't have a 911 in the first place. They're still well above the cost of an average car in the U.S., and the maintenance fees are no different. But my uncle who bought a 911 C4S a couple years back doesn't seem to mind.

That's all true too, I never said the Corvette was a bad car, the only thing I said relating to the Vette was that the interior could be better (the C6 fixed a lot of things though) plus the pushrod V-8 is an aging engine. I was talking mostly about American cars in general in most of my post.

By the way, what kind of car(s) do you drive?

oldsmobile bravada
300c awd
chevrolet corvette convertible

All dressed in black

Yeah 911 woo hoo! I definately agree. That's my dream car!!
Hmm,
This car didnt satisfy me much, as it was too crampy and the car looked like an egg or some type of toad from outside. the interior was average nothing outrageous than practical. The power hmm how much juice can u suck out of a i6. The torque wasnt immediately jumpable or immediately there like a corvette or quicker sports for the dollar. its more than what its worth for 70k. The maintanence costs just found out were 400 dollars for service visit wow and thats 75 bucks for an oil change and oil filter plus check up for a corvette.
The car looks no different than another boxster biggest problem with europeon cars they all blend in and i wouldnt want to be the dumber idiot to buy a car over 60k and want to blend in.
One more important thing lets not forget this car makes u feel OLD. Like as if u are stuck in your MIDLIFE crisis.

If this car suites some one good luck and buy it if u can afford it and i drive a 2005 corvette my self, spent 65k myself. Meet me at the strip, track, and street anywhere and u will see why they call the new corvette a modern muscle car.

PS: Pushrod old or new, its efficient and also AMERICANS do not want small displacement engines and i am not complaining even though car drinks 93 octane at 3 bucks a gallon but gave 25mpg on highway at constant speed for 50 miles.

Yeah. But I can buy an Ultima for 40K. Which is holds the record for 0-100-0 mph. It is 1 second quicker than a Mclaren F1.

It does 0-60 in 2.7 secs. 01-100 in 6 secs. Doesn't make it a good car. It is however very quick.

Like i said in my post again, i didnt just say about speed. i was talking about cost of maintanence, the room and the practility. Also there is practicly nothing inside the ultima(why would they name it after POS nissan i dont get it). No sound systems absolutely nothing, no TC, no Driver aids nothing. The fastest car where mclaren f1 was still out was held by koenigsegg.com. There new ccr does 0-60 flat out in 2.8 secs, 850 bhp out of ford mustang v8 engine. I call this a super car killer.

PS:"One more important thing lets not forget this car makes u feel OLD. Like as if u are stuck in your MIDLIFE crisis."
Tell me thats true and holds facts. Now why would any one wanna buy a car that does that to u.

We can't afford the petrol on US cars. So we buy German cars. They are pretty.

I'd love a brand new 911 convertable. I think they're nice. Good performance. And gives you 25mpg. Sweet.

I'll also like a 360 Modena. And a 1965 Corvette. And the list goes on.

My brother had a 911 Turbo a few years ago and that car ROCKED
I love porches's. My next car will be a porsche and so will the next (i'm looking at getting a 944)

Anyway, why are the 911's so good. They are consistant as many have said. But they are engineered to perfection. The reason you won't see ferrari's or mustangs or the like there is because they are not EFFICIENT.
Porsche gets the most out of a 6 cylinder engine which can still compete with 8, 10 and 12 cylinder engines. What's the point of having a 5.0 litre car when a 3.6L engine does better. Performance wise porsche's are the most efficient cars there are. I loved my brothers 911. It was superb around corners, it's breaking was heaven, the engine purred, acceleration and gear shifting was heaven... It's one of the best and it being one of the best cars ever made doesn't surprise me.

(mind you this is also my biased opinion. I'm in love with porsche's)

And whoever that can afford a porsche can afford the service prices

Plus also the feeling of being in a middle aged crisis :D . The car is just bland all of them have the same look. That ugly frog shaped design and a hump back and always finding some 40 year old driving around in it.
