the feeling of being "out of it" is maintained for hours to days (depending on the potency of the feces i guess?), but the "cocaine like high" is probably what you feel immediately after inhaling, and it probably wears off faster than the whole trip back down.

it probably comes from a lot of things. you can use those fat spraycans to get high, you can get high off lighter gas, you can get high off of pretty much anything. the molecules that make up the gas go into your lungs and are picked up by your blood cells and transported to every cell in your body, includnig the brain. have you ever actually tried to inject poo into your veins? basically, there's a multiplum of sources in a poo that could have an intoxicating effect. poo isn't simply it's own substance. if you eat weed, what then? sniffing the poo should have SOME effect lol. and if they can tell you got high off mostly any drug from analyzing your piss it's thinkable that something in your urine could have an effect as well. i know certain types of nuts that are commonly used in food can give you strong hallucinations and feelings of being high. i mean, if you shoot any type of liquid that gives off a smell that stings your nostrils it would probably have a strong effect on your body, for good or worse.

I've heard of this before, not by those names though. I remember my cousin visited her family in western Africa, I think Zambia but i'm not sure. In the poorer regions, similar to "crack heads" in America the kids would get high after watching the older people get high. The older people were usually homeless and in many of the small villages, there's no sewage line underground, so raw sewage sits in the streets, in the market area mostly, for days. So with the extreme heat, everyone who was in the area was high. Mostly for life, lol, because the homeless had nowhere else to go. I remember her telling me that the elders thought the marketplace was haunted. What amazing immune systems they have over there But these kids in the states... seriously... wow.
