great movie, one of my favorites. ive been meaning to read the book. i figure i'll get around to it one of these days. it must have taken a lot of money to film this because there are an ass load of producers on the credits, but i think that is common in many of spike lee's films

That is a damn good dialogue. I think my favorite is from Good Will Hunting though, when Matt Damon is talking about working for the NSA.
Yeah, that's a great monologue also. It actually had be cracked up the whole time cause in a way, it's pretty true. A real chaos theory effect.

yeah my brother performed the 25th hour monologue for one of his drama classes in college. i haven't read the book, but he says there's more to it in there...something about patrick ewing and that missed lay-up back in the day or something.

I love that Pacino monologue, cause it's true. No matter what sport or if it's life, it's the inches that matters.

The 25th Hour monologue is good, but one that tops it imo is another Ed Norton monologue, several of them actually, from American History X, in particular the rant to motivate all the skinheads right before they storm the convenience store. you almost get the sense in that scene that its real, and it's scary good
