Boo...you expect a site that is run by the widow of the cop who was killed that night to have the truth about what happened? I don't think so. You gotta know the ins and outs of both the Mumia and Assata case before demanding she be brought back to New Jersey and put in jail for the rest of her life or having the switch pulled on Mumia.

A good, fair, and balanced book about the Mumia case is Killing Time by Dave Lindorff.

Do you think it matters on who runs that site? The site dosen't lose credibility because of that. If you really want to convince me, then get to debunking the claims made from that site.

i agree in that until you know the in's and out's of the case, you can't really support someone. i mean i can say free dahmer because the cops imprisoned him, but then again i don't want to be on the wrong end of some a-1 sauce either...

i hate cops. period. ...but if you kill one you've still made a widow and fatherless children. that ain't cool.

exactly what i was thinking when i made my post. i don't like cops either, but that doesn't mean this one was doing anything wrong. as far as we can tell he was just doing his job. but like you said, we don't know everything.

yeah, so it doesnt matter how much evidence and accounts assata brings, and everythin that was already bein set up against her at the time and any 'rebel',,disregard all of the programs and hundreds of documents drawn out against em,,,, she still killed the cop, and zayd shakur, she doesnt deserve to see the light of day again. and all the accousations of Rape (which she herself doesnt even make a point of pointin out in the letter she wrote), and total mistreat while in prison obviously off of a bullshit conviction , with clearly not enough evidence beyond anythin. but the god damn terrorist escaped and fled to Cuba! 30 years?? up the antee lets bring her back so we can light her ass up.

Do you really think it's "silly" for one to give a portion of the reward money to the families that she so adversely affected? You're an asshole to question that. As far as I'm concerned, all you know about this case is only from her side. So, what do you know about her, and Sunidata Acoli, disrupting the courtroom, and what do you know about her, and him, having to be placed into a soundproof booth because of said disruption, and even having sex in it? That's not the kind of demeanor that I would expect from someone trying to prove their innocence. it's hard not to believe her story, I mean come on, I feel sorry for the guys family but think of all the policies this government had against organizations that were labeled as terrorists, A.I.M., the Black Panthers etc.

It's very easy to pull out the race card and COINTELPRO to excuse crimes you have commited. And we also know how the US government uses propaganda to make it's enemies our enemies. If she killed the policeman she deserves prison no doubt.

But I agree with that, but I don't understand why it's so important for them to catch her after she hasn't broken any laws for so long. Usually crimes like this are forgotten.
The US has loads of enemies. And a lot are more prominent. But they don't have these bounties on their heads. Or am I just being Naive? Am I under estimating the "battle" between the government and the panthers.

I believe 2pac died over some petty gang shit, with Lane as the shooter.

But it is well a possibility that the government orchestarted the whole thing. I just choose not to believe that. Although I haven't ruled it out. It's more believable to me than Suge Orchestrating it all.

It's weird that on the night when pac fought with orlando in the casino. They never show the full footage. I mean, theres cameras pointing everywhere in a cansino. Every sqaure foot on the casino was being recorded that night. Yet, we see the same damn footage of orlando on the floor being beaten up by the deathrow camp. I think somebody is holding out on something.
