The 2006 round up, how was it for you?

S O F I said:
When school started in September, I realized that my high school was pathetic. However, I was still ready to do well and I had confidence in myself. I finished the quarter with a 3.6 overall GPA which is solid for my first ever college quarter. It's an A-, I believe. I've learned a lot and gained new aspirations towards what I want to do in life. Also, I've learned to be myself a lot more and not what other people want me to be. I know it sounds cliche and it's easily said, but it's not easy to do. I've realized I don't really like crazy, party girls. They annoy me and are too flat and bore me. I realized that I don't like one night stands and random hook ups and that I'm longing for a relationship.

Overall, I've grown in many ways and my future looks fairly good on paper. As for my happiness, I'm in a hot pursuit of it, low on gas with the engine about to overheat.

Really cute SOFI...

I think ill post some informations later.

I haven't played basketball is 4 months cus of a slowly slowly healing broken hand, I'm goin crazy. But this year has been real good.

I haven't played proper bball in years because of a knee injury that cost me my jump, but lately I've been playing outdoor 3 on 3 (either that or beach volleyball) to stay fit and I've realised how much I really really miss competition basketball.

I've decided I'm gonna train my knee at the gym with the hopes of hitting the court again in 2007, so I feel your pain.

Hope you're able to get back into it soon.

Finised this thing called Cegep (Its like a college in between high school and university that you have to do in Quebec for some unknown reason to me.)
Plus, I was in this thing called the International Baccalaurate (maybe some of you know what it is.) And it practically tore my nerves apart.

So yeah I finished that and I started University this year, which is not that stressing compared to what I did in the last two years.

Girlfriend left me, was down for a couple of months...

Tried salvia, absinth and started to smoke a little bit... occasionaly really..

Went to Bosnia...saw France vs Bosnia (soccer.) was sick...

Almost got run over by 5 crazy fascists... was funny.

aaaaaaaand I dunno what other to tell you honestly... lol

^ slow on the uptake are you or did you think you'd exposed a big secret...

lol expose a secret? i thought it was funny the two of you broke up with your significant others in the same month. not knowing who were u're bf or his gf. plus, it was in jan a year ago.

easy miss "too sensitive" :p

i started at the bottom of this goddamn mountain. i ain't gettin into too many details, but i... we, fell hard as hell in '05. '06 has been nothing but pursuing the top, again. which i'm can say has gone well so far. at this rate within '07 will be stable again.

learned and experienced a whole lot, i can't even remember the type of person i was last year. i met some great folks, overcame assholes, had some great times, fucked up horribly, loss so much, but still gained even more. i'm lookin forward to the new year and what shit it has in store.

Well i've been at my job for almost a year (come December 28th) and it's been great i'd say. I got a nice car as well. I also met and got to know someone who I now really like.

:( I lost my team, might start playing for South Adelaide Panthers next year though. I miss it!

i woke up this morning N' said FUCC THA WORLD...........................so az u can tell it's been a fucc'd up year......but yet pretty normal for my standards....that's bad

school-wise.. i failed my winter 2006 semester. failed 2 courses on 4. then this semester (autumn 2006) i decided i wouldn't fuck up another semester and did all my work, attended most of my courses (skipped 3-4 only and those were in the end when you don't learn anything new). so yeah basically bad and good. but i decided i would even give a try to university when i'll be finished with cegep. who knows. i might like it.

love-wise.. never been this happy. got closer to my boyfriend than ever. also spending new year's eve and new year with him. new year's eve he comes ot my family, and on new year i'm going to his.

work-wise.. worked full time at this school uniform store all summer then got this phone interviewer part time job for a market reseach/tv & radio ratings company. still there. looking forward to stay there til summer. then we'll see.

family-wise.. it had its ups and its downs. mostly downs because i'm never home and my mom is freaking out because of that. also she got depressed a lot this year, didn't help. my grandma is still in her center, her health getting worse day by day. i can say by how she is that 2007 might be her last year.

health-wise.. been good. didn't get really this year. hopefully it'll be the same for next year.

friends-wise.. i've stopped talking to some, continued with others. basically cleaning out my life. i've changed as a person so some friends were inappropriate for my current lifestyle.

hopefully 2007 will be like this year or better.

work - I've finally ended my formal education in June and joined the work force. Money is nice, no homework on the weekends is great...having to go to bed at a decent hour so I can be at work at 7 a.m., shitty. I've also realized that the path to the top (executive, board member type shit) is going to be a long drawn out process. Everything was accomplished in at least four years (high school, college...), but now it'll take 5 years just to move up one step...reality is a bitch.

Life - On the plus side, bought a new car (Acura TL), buying stupid electronics like a fool, and spending too much of my money.

Streethop - I'm that lurker that you would love to hate if you knew I was around. Been on the board quite frequently throughout the year, but like usual, just observe and entertain myself with other people's ramblings with little input on my part. I know it isn't preferred, but whatever, I've been doing this shit for years.

Relationship - Girls come and go...whatever...

Health - I'm eating much healthier now. I suggest that anyone that wants to improve their health should try to eliminate caffeine and any processed foods. You would be surprised how good food tastes if you make the shit from scratch.

Overall I hope that '07 keeps moving me forward...maybe buy a house by the end of the year.
