Something fucked up when i set this yesturday and it wasnt letting anyone apart from me REP users, I think I have fixed it now. Could someone please try to rep me and then reply when you have done so so I can see if it registered or not, thanks.

^Thats The Problem

No matter how many good posts you make, people arent gonna rep you becuz they dont care, or they forget to.

I love the sytem, we just need people to cooperate.

It's a nice feature. Is there any benefit to having a high reputation level?

None that I know of, maybe Rukas will have a better answer for that.
The only benefit I know of is the reputation itself, just that. It should give us an idea of who makes the good posts here and who doesn't (if the system is used in the right way).

Like KAMIKAZI said, you all need to cooperate if you want the quality of the posts to go up.

Lets say somebody posts a link to a tight song, instead of leaving 'thanks', why don't you rep the person? Silleone, lets say somebody 'schools' Jason G in a thread with a respectful & intelligent reply- rep that person. But try not to go around and rep people for 'owning' somebody because senseless 'owning' is the kind of stuff we're trying to get rid of. You know what I mean? :D

No doubt some people will be handing out rep points for stupid things like posting an 'owned' picture.

Repped.

The way the system works, is they have to have 100 rep points for their rep to count when they rep people. So the newbs cant rep people, it wont count.

Ive actually turned this off for now to build peoples reps up, but will turn it back on later.

So if people dont get rep for posting good stuff, they cant give it either.
