A 'pipe dream' is just a dream that appears, by all means & measures, to be unattainable.

When 2Pac says it was his 'pipe dream' to be in the movies (I think this is what you're talking about) he just means it was one of his dreams but one which most - if not Tupac himself - would've thought was impossible.


Oh, & if you get an English exam where you have to read a passage of text - where the writer has incorporated colloquialism & very common phrases - & you are asked to answer questions on this passage, the shit has hit the fan.
