depends what you classify as techno, some people generalise dance, trance, euro, house and electric all into techno.

And i donn't mind any of those that i mentioned, there are some GREAT tracks out there.

I dont mind some techno, although, most of it just gets really old with time. It's not something I could listen to over again like you can with some hip-hop or r&b albums (which is all so subjective though I guess).

In any case I dont mind Sash, Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers. It's hard to even know what could be classed as techno... Prodigy, Faithless? Would Bomfunk MCs - "freestyler" be techno?

yeah there is Vocal Trance, the ones you're talking about with the fast beats are either Hard Trance or hardhouse
