just simple question, i'm interested and need an answer to. what part of your salary you're charged and taken away as taxes. i mean what's the percentage of it. e.g. in lithuania where i live, taxes make about 33% of my salary. need this info for a lil' comparing. Especially interested about situation in UK, so TB members from UK, holla :)

You know what, I wish I knew, I should find out, all I know is for the paycheck I got on Monday they took out $875 .

then, you could easily calculate what's the percentage. What was the whole sum and how much they took/ what part of it?

Yeah I cant remember the net sum though and Im not walking to the car to check my payslip now.

Seems to be about 20-25% though.

I got taxed over $2000 this month.

I'm not sure of the percentage but I don't think I'm on the highest tax band. I think it's about 25% or something. Haven't checked my wage slip.

in Quebec, you have to pay more taxes if you are richer... i know that when you make about 100 000, you are left with 50 000-60 000

it all depends on wut u do, and how much u make, i get taxed very little, but thats cuz im gettin paid very little, i don no exactly wut im gettin taxed, but i think its about 15% giv or take a few percentage

EDIT - i jus checked my pay slip, im only bein taxed 5%
