Talib Kweli - Ear Drum - What do you think?

I downloaded the advance a couple days ago and after listening to the album a couple times, I realized that this is one of the highlights of 2007. I enjoyed every song and I'm not surprised that XXL gave it a 4/5, but I would've given it 5/5. This is easily a classic CD.

Fav's:
NY Weather Report, Hostile Gospel, Country Cousins, Eat To Live, Hell, More or Less, The Perfect Beat, Hot Thing, and Listen.

This, Graduation, Numixx V.2, The Cool (Lupe's new cd), and The Nacirema Dream are the CD's I'm looking forward to this year.

But what do you guys think of it?

You should get a medal for saying that, everyone I talk to says that album is shit but like you said it is the best released this year.

Pharaohe Monch's Desire and EL-P's Ill Sleep When Your Dead were far better albums so i guess you are missing out if this is the only album you will buy this year.

There is nothing special about this album.It is a bit above average imo.
