I dont know where I'd say is better, since I havent really been to any other big cities, but Sydney? I would hate to think thats as good as it gets, it stinks half the people are tourists, the other half are stuck up business people who have their noses too far in the air. I wouldnt want to live there.

brisbane is behind sydney in everything, but that makes sense, because brisbane is newer. i think brisbane is the fastest growing city in australia, though.

ya'll can't match us in anything... women - definitely not. sport - nah, 'cos we get all the major events over you guys. clubs, bars and restaurants we kill you in. beaches, weather, etc.

only thing i can think of that you may have us beat is in general cost of living - shit is much cheaper up there.

gold coast is alright.

melbourne is cool and comes close to sydney. we got you beat in sport and beaches though.


i guess it depends on your personality. only city i could live in outside of sydney is melbourne. i could never live in brisbane, adelaide, etc cos it's too quiet..not enough people.

^ I think Melbourne beats both Sydney and Brisbane in respect of sports. They definately have all the events!

There are nice restaurants and hot people in every city though, lol.

Perth isnt bad.

Sydney vs. Brisbane in sports in general (counting state teams)

NSW Blues have beaten QLD Maroons recently, however when QLD Maroons get on a winning streak we usually keep the shield for a few years. Close though.

Brisbane Broncos vs Syndey Rooster, Brisbane has been in the NRL for shorter time and has won more premierships than Sydney. We were the most dominant team in the 90's.

Reds vs Waratahs, the NSW team is definately the prime team now but ever since the Super 12 (now 14) started QLD Reds were the most consistant team. Recently we turned to shit.

Bulls vs. Blues in cricket, no comparison even when NSW has all it's stars.

Bullets vs. Kings, close. Very close but the Kings have won more championships than the Bullets.

Beaches

We won't even go into beaches, Brisbane/Gold Coast hands down has the nicest beaches. Only state which can match us is W.A. Warm water, low shark threat, golden sand and perfect weather.:thumb:

Syndey's cool, my problem is it's over congested. Brisbane's not behind times at all, we are right up there. We just don't have a huge population like Sydney. Give it 20 years and we'll have over taken Sydney which is actually a shame.
