Ok I know I said this last post, but I'm going to say it again.

So far, this season sucks. It feels like I am watching a soap opera. Now, I know that past seasons have been filled with drama, and that is what made them the most memorable seasons. But in those seasons, the drama was about the game itself, i.e. power struggles. This season the drama is all about not liking people, regardless of the game. It is as if they took people they knew were unstable and put them on a show purely to get ratings. That is not what makes survivor great.

On a sider note, I can't wait to see Naonka crying next episode.

Well, they pulled it off. Last nights episode was great.

Kind've sad to see T-bone go, but hey, thats what unstable tribe mates do.

Thoughts on Marty letting everyone know about the idol? I think he did the right thing in the wrong way. He should've fronted like it was for the tribe as a whole come the merge.

Can't believe they didn't vote off Naonka for being a whiny piece of shit. Just on that basis she should go... As for Tyrone,he was a bit bossy so what... who else is gonna step up? That dude from Brooklyn with bad knees? (I forget his name cause hes that useless lol)... Bah, stupid tribe mates.

Why was Dan kept in the game? I have no idea... Sometimes I wonder the logic with these people. I'd assume at this point in the game, you'd want to keep your tribe as strong as possible to win most of the challenges, cause the tide of the game changes quickly - you could be on the good side of the vote, then automatically on the bad side. I don't get these people...

I feel bad for Kelly B, not because I think she'd the hottest peg-leg around, but because she probably gives more than anyone else. I hope Brenda burns in hell, that tarantula woman. Marty is a great player though, one of my favorite out of the group. Very smart - I hope he beats the shit out of Brenda and hides her body in some tall grass, or something.

QUIT CHIP NECKLACE
I understand that Dan has had enough. He’s been successful in life. He’s proven to himself that he can get out here and hack it and so now he wants to go home. Fine. But here’s my wish… I wish we had a “Quit Chip Necklace” that every contestant had to wear. If you mention to someone that you want to quit, they have to pull off one of your chips. When you run out of chips, you have to go home. Period. You show up at a challenge, I see that you have no chips left, I take your buff, give you a friendly kick in the ass and send you on your way. Ah but that’s only a dream.

Here’s why it wouldn’t work – we hate it when people quit! We want you to stay in the game and play. We want you to try to win. We want you to make moves that improve your station in the game. We don’t want you to quit. Quitting sucks. Everybody regrets it and it just makes for a problem for us. So I would be shooting myself in the foot if I pressed for us to actually introduce the “Quit Chip Necklace.” But I do like the sound of it – much better than Medallion of Power.

i was pretty shocked when they took out kelly b instead of marty. would have been a lot smarter to get rid of marty now because strategy wise he will be a much bigger threat than kelly would have been.

You keep a pissed off Marty over a pissed off Kelly B? Kelly B had no strategy, and would have been an easy pick off next tribal. Now they've pissed Marty off and its game on. Props to Marty though, not playing his idol took a lot of balls.

Keeping Dan around was a bonehead move. As soon as they saw Marty look at him and say goodluck man that should've been the clue right there that he needs the boot. I can see why they don't think he'll be a threat post merge, because he won't be, but to think he's going to stick with them and not flop the first chance he gets? lol, morons.

Edit: I wanted to say, Marty telling Judd he is a grandmaster chess player and Judd believing him is one of the funniest things I've seen on the show for a long time.

The grandmaster chess player move was epic. What a way to use age as an advantage. You're right that Kelly B had no strategy, but I liked her ... They are both player that I like. Marty is my fave at the moment though, he's gonna rip shit up now. lol.

Sucks Jill went. I'm still on the fence about Marty giving up the idol. I'd rather it been in jeffs hands than in my oppents hands. Other than that kind've a boring episode. lol @ dan.

i thought for sure kelly purple was going home, seeing as they showed more of her in that episode than they have in the rest of the series. im pretty sure she tops my list of hottest survivors ever.

merge should be interesting next week. hopefully marty can get something going for him and get that fuckass sash outta there.

^Ugh, purple Kelly is such a dud. When she had her one on one time and was talking about the reward.. *shakes head*.

She's hot yeah. But nowadays that I'm all mature and shit personality is the main thing I look for.

interesting episode tonight. what turned out as a bit of a dud season has gotten pretty good. just got a few quick random thoughts.

It was nice to see dan actually doing something tonight, hopefully his character develops a bit more over the next few episodes.

how stupid was naonka stealing the food and shit. fucking moron.

one thing that is bugging me with this season is kelly purple. think about it, out of everyone there she has gotten the least air time, and yet i cant see her going home soon. its just kinda odd. im really hoping she doesnt make it into the final unless she pulls a decent move, which i doubt.

I thought it was a really good episode. Your right about it starting off as a dud season but ever since they switched the tribes originally it's been good.

I pretty much agree with everything you said Woody, however I see purple Kelly going quite far as she's such an unde the radar player. I don't get Marty he seems smart but he makes stupid moves. I don't have a facourite this season, I justm don't want naonka winning. Actually I'd like benry to win

Out of curiosity, how come they've never made a show in say, a colder area of the world? They keep going to spots that are known for its extreme heat and humidity. What don't they get shipped off to Siberia, or somewhere in Scandinavia? Like it doesn't have to be freak cold weather, but you know - colder than usual.

I think part of it is insurance. They can't get any for those areas. I know insurance is why they can only have Americans on the show. The other part is they can't have hot women walking around half naked.

This season is seriously becoming shit. I laughed my ass off at Marty's strut after he voted at the council. I seriously didn't want to see him go. You have Naonka, an annoying loud mouth who curses at ppl and steals and she's still on despite not really doing much. You have Dan... he looks like a stand up guy and all, but cmon - the guys have to carry his ass everywhere. That old bat Jane annoys the shit out of me. Kudos for being tough, but I thought she was gonna collapse in the last challenge.

The final 3 are gonna be losers...

Bah, this has been a disappointing season.
Can't wait for Russell and Rob to go at each other next season though

i dunno it may just be that i am a survivor knob jockey but i am liking this season. not one of my favorites but its solid enough.

i was disappointed to see marty go too. he was one of the bigger characters this season.

i can see sash becoming a successful villain, i think we will be seeing him play again.

my early tips too win it are Brenda and Fabio.
