Thanks bigmack, im gonna probably order a bag, cus I hear this stuff is great for post workout insulin spiking. If i take it during my workout it will increase my pump you say? as appose to just taking it post workout??
Also, what do you know about Maltrose? You ever tried the stuff?

you can take it during the workout,it will bring your strength and pumps up. you still have to take it pre/post workout though.

maltrose is a starch which you do not want to take pre and post workout since it does not spike the insulin,therefore has no use.

I used creatine last year, did alot of research to find the best one and eventually srttles on prolab creatine (bought it over the net)

in the first week of taking creatine, you should take around 4 teaspoons a day to saturate your muscles in it. You can take 1 teaspoon a day, but it just means it will take 4 times as long to have the same effect (i.e - 28 days instead of 7)

so.. after 7 days your muscles are completely saturated in the creatine, and your ready to start pushin out the big weights..

You should then take a teaspoon of creatine a day before and/or after working out

you will notice -

1. you can lift heavier weights for longer periods
2. you look bigger than you did a couple of weeks prior (mainly because of the water retention caused by creatine)
3. you recover quicker

you should also cycle your use of creatine as it is unhealthy for yuor body to have that much creatine in your system.. maybe have 2 months on, 2 weeks off so on and so forth.

take this as well as taking a high quality whey protein powder, together with a healthy diet and your on your way for some seriuos muscle and weight gain.

whoa did u say prolab? did u know prolab creatine is pure garbage.there was some testing done a few months back on prolab creatine,and alot of the batches didnt even contain a single ounce of creatine. also found was some creatinine,which is a by product of creatine and is poisonous. if you want good creatine,look for S.A.N v12 turbo. no only does it not contain any sugar or calories,but it also contains arginine which is a vasodilator also known as N02.when i started taking v12 turbo, i gained about 20 pounds of water in 2 days. Every week i would add at least 10 pounds on my bench.

contrary to popular belief, Creatine loading is not neccessary and a waste of money.if you take more than 5 grams of creatine a day,the excess is eliminated through the urine.if you take 20 grams,which is the standard in creatine loading, you are essentially wasting 3 servings of creatine.

Also creatine cycling is not neccessary.Your body does not build immunity towards creatine since creatine is naturally produced in the body.And there were some reports last year that stated creatine use will halt the body's production of creatine, which turned out to be false.Bullshit reports from creatine haters.

The only advice i can give you regarding creatine use is drink lots of water.If you dont drink enough water, you will damage your liver and you will dehydrate.When on creatine,alot of water is sucked into the muscles so your body is left without water.

from personal experience, prolab creatine is excellent.. do some research and i think you'll find the name 'prolab' thrown around as the best there is.

loading isnt necessary but necessary if you want the full creatine benefits as soon as possible certainly do not load longer then a week as after this, anything more than a teaspoon is useless

creatine cycling is necessary if you tend to be doin this for the long term unless you want some fucked up kidneys
 
Yo Bigmack I dunno why you're against milk. I love milk first of all and it does give me the proteins I need I (besides everything else I eat)

i did the research.you are just talking from experience.of course just by looking at it and taking it in,you have absolutely no idea whats in it.its just a white powder.plus i actually know the guy who owns prolab and i don't have anything against him. i just have gotten test results on different supplements and the prolab creatine was in one of the reports.Prolab is very lazy and they don't test their products after they are mixed. What they do is buy creatine and the sugar in bulk.So if there is something in it that's not good,then the problem is with the sugar or creatine that they purchase in bulk.BUT i blame prolab for inadequate testing of their products.

absolutely false.it has been proven that loading has absolutely no benefits and is a waste of money. go to google or newsgroups and search for creatine loading and you find reports and studies that prove it does absolutely nothing. the way the creatine loading concept came to light was when supplement companies decided to trick their clients so they end up buying more creatine.They ended up selling more creatine and making more money.i'm giving you this info for your own benefit.Do as you wish

lmao.creatine does not damage kidneys. Don't confuse stuff you hear with facts. I have about 20 studies from medical journals involving long term use of creatine supplementation. There has been 0 side effects found.

And just so you know genius.Creatine is naturally produced in the body.You also get creatine from eating meat.If continuous use of creatine damaged kidneys then people would start having kidney failure and die in their early teens.

Milk consists mostly of fat(trans fats too).Skim milk eliminates the fat and adds sugar to substitute taste,but still tastes like crap and less nutritional. The protein it contains is not very beneficial.I'd be surprised if more than %20 is used by the body.On top of all of that,the milk industry deceives the public with their corny milk commercials promoting the importance of milk for calcium. Truth be told,milk contains traces of calcium,hardly enough to be beneficial.I'd rather stick with a multi and my whey.

By the whey :p , guys dont drink soy milk cuz it will destroy ur chances of havin kids.

Yeah, milk is bad. In fact, milk as it is presently available is far more toxic than it is nutritious. The intervention of modern technology, with the support of the law, has made it effectively impossible for most ppl to ever drink a nutritious glass of milk.
