sunburn

I don't remember having sunburn or peeling. I've had sun poison where it just itches. Sometimes sensitive spots hurt a lil if I stay in the sun too long...like the top of my feet or my lips or something.

I can get pretty pale though.

Native Australians are known as Aborigines and look like this:

They have been there for thousands of years. Around 40,000 I believe.

In the 1770's the British "discovered" Australia and claimed it as their own. They then thought "Hey wouldn't it be a good idea if we send all our prisoners there".

So boatloads of British convicts were sent over there and these were the first white people in Australia. The British continued to ship convicts there for damn near 100 years.

Basically, unless your family settled in Australia of their own free will, after around 1900...........chances are you are descended from convicts.

And to this day, the ruler of England (currently Queen Elizabeth II) is also the soverign head of Australia. Hence why your flag, which looks like this:

contains the flag of Great Britain within it.

Aboriginal Australians were quite dark even if they aren't now. It's also believed that a lot of them came through from Africa, I thought? I could be wrong...

Edit: What Casey said. LOL

yeh my dad moved over from england when he was young n so did my mums great grandma i think. Aborigines used to be classed in the fuana and flora act up untill like the 60's or 70's i think, like they were considered sub human. iv only eber met one aboriginal :(

Go to the garden center and buy an Aloe Vera plant. Rip the "leaves" off and get the clear syrup from the inside and use that.

Alternately you can buy Aloe Vera cream, but make sure to get the 100% pure one.

It will stop you from peeling, stop it from hurting, and help you go brown.

i use that plant when i get burnt at work..

very good stuff.
