I am undecided on his signings. I think defensively Brown and O'Shea will bring a lot. I think he will have trouble replacing Bents goals, which he doesn't seem to have addressed, yet. In midfield he has signed average, unspectacular players. I would like to see, if Gibson signs, if he can be decent or not.

They still need a new Centre Forward, and some creativity in midfield.

Larrsson was a decent signing. But upfront they have Gyan and two untried teenagers. Gyan hasn't ever been a prolific goalscorer.

I forgot Malbranque is there still.

Man Utd bid for Nasri, I hope we get him. Though I was having a discussion with couple of my friends who are Man Utd fans who don't particularly want him and think he will cause imbalance in the midfield.

i saw the other day that Andy Reid moved back to Nottingham Forest.

Trapattoni was proven right over and over about himself and Stephen Ireland. he has received alot of criticism for not picking Reid anymore and for not going over to lick Ireland's arse and get him back. look at both of them now.

I don't get why players just float around the league and accomplish nothing, like Darren Bent, instead of going to Aston Villa who won't compete for the top 6 why not try going somewhere abroad? If Defoe leaves Spurs he should try going abroad, going to another Premiership club will be pointless.

^^probably because they are more highly thought of in england and therefore can get higher wages when they move on

and ofc there is the inflated trasnfer fees that no foreign team will pay for them and lets face it neither of those players is good enough for any of the top teams in Europe.

i was reading a few days ago that Liverpool were linked with Sturridge. a load of shite because i could never see Chelsea selling to Liverpool but id love it Liverpool got him.

Downing was great for Villa last year. I can't see Johnson leaving city or Mata moving to England. City is a bit dodgy, but it happens every day in many other businesses.

Sneijder says that the only way he will leave is if Inter accept an offer and they want him to go. The new Inter manager has said that he wants him to stay. i guess a big offer could change all that.

Ferguson has said that it is unlikely Man Utd will sign Nasri and that he thinks he has agreed to join someone else. wonder who that is?

I doubt we will get Sneijder.
