its a setting in the forum on the user group. It will be set to No on animated Avatars for normal users I guess. Admins prob had Yes on the usergroup

It can only be done in the admin panel. But only certain Gif's are supported. Good 1's don't work. lol

Hence my poor Avatar. That I will be changing back to JPEG.
