Technology subtitles problem

what could be wrong: i got a movie in mpeg format, when i add subtitle file into the same folder and launch the film, media player encounters a problem and shuts down. when i remove subtitle and launch the movie alone, everything goes fine. what's wrong with it?? i tried different subtitles from different sites, but with that movie - it's all the same. This is the 2nd movie i noticed this problem, all other times with other movies - it's ok.

what version of media player are you using?

Just dl another player like Crystal Player Pro, it will work fine on that

does crystal player pro lets you add and play movie with subtitles just like media player?

Yes Crystal Player does everything, Zoom Player is prob the best player out there, I use that now, plays everything.
