we just lost a great man...by the sounds of things his death wont be in vein, they are about to open the largest animal hospital in Australia soon which Steve had a big part in gettin goin & gettin funding..too bad he wont be around to open it...RIP Steve

a couple years back i was on the beach by myself, i used to go for swims most afternoons & the water was rather & dark & i ran in & dived & i swear i landed right on top of one...needless to say i was back on shore in a flash...then there was the time i found a dead one in a river & was carrying it around (i was like 10)..wont be doin that ever that again!

Actually, if you ask me, i think its stupid to say if you have a young daughter sitting at home.

If I were in that position I'd probably take more care too, but I wasnt brought up in a house that had snakes everywhere, bats flying around and generally being around "dangerous" animals. The thing is he was in 2 meters deep water, not fucking with the animal in typical steve style, really this could have happened to me or you had we been in that water.

Yeah so do i. It's crazy how many people actually loved this guy, all my work mates have been talking about his passing all week! everybodys well sad. I just went to HMV and asked the dude where the crocodile hunter dvds are? and he said they have just orderd them cuz there have been a lot of folks asking for them all week.I think what makes it so sad is cuz the guy cared so much about animals,and so obviously loved his life. The guy was just so much fun, what a shame.
