I already put a "WARNING" at the top of the post so anybody who hasn't seen the movie will be aware. Regardless I don't believe my post was a spoiler as it didn't give away any of the plot and just expressed my dissatisfaction with a wholly unbelievable sub-plot. If I've somehow ruined some of the children's fantasies about the movie, I apologize.
