Seriously, he is and he's got the mixtape to prove it too.

Now that they are re-making movies I watched upon their release, I'm starting to feel quite old.

Why are they remaking Juice?

This is gonna hurt a lot of people... But... It is a SHIT film. The plot is weak. It is full of cliché and it is actually pretty boring.

Tupac wasn't even all that good in it. He was better than the fat fella, and the Raheem fella. But the only one who was actually good was Q (Omar Epps). Also the soundtrack was good.

The only reason that film gets the attention it does is because of Tupac. And the only film Tupac was in that was actually any good in it's own right was GridLock'd.

Juice is good because of it being ernest dickersons best & first film and a film that put Pac on the map

this shit alternates -

juice > gridlock'd > gang related > poetic justice > above the rim

Bullet is under rated some because of Pacs character

juice > gridlock'd > gang related > poetic justice > above the rim

i honestly don't remember seeing all of gridlock'd. =/

i think:

Juice > Above the Rim > Gang Related > Poetic Justice

His best acting was in Juice.

Above the Rim, I liked the story, music, and feeling to the story a lot, even Casting. but the way Pac played Bishop moves this out of first place. Bug-a-loo...who comes up with these gangsta names? lol

Gang Related

Poetic Justic - This was his worst movie. Not acting wise, i do agree with that famous comment that he did switch rolls and show that there were "two 2pac's" but the story and janet jacksons acting wasn't strong for me. a few good quotes and that was it.

Pac wasn't a good actor. Sorry, but it's a fact. His best role was in Gridlock'd. Also his best acting. I think he was weak in Juice. And the movie only became popular after 2pac's music did.

It was as popular as anyother film about black teenagers doing a robbery. The movie posters were all over Blockbusters/Ritz windows, it's not like nobody knew of the film. Obviously it became more popular with newbie hip hop fans.

He wasn't a bad actor. He didn't ruin movies. I wasn't (always) embarrassed for him when I watched him act.

Gridlock'd is the only decent movie he was in, but Juice is his best performance. When he points the gun at Raheem and says, "I'm not playin", that's his best moment on film.

It's hard to pick his worst moment. There are many bad ones. He wasn't terrible in Poetic Justice, but it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen, so it counts against him. It's not as bad as Bullet, though. He'd clearly lost the love by that point. Horrible performance. And Gang Related, oh boy. If you can sit through a movie where Tupac's name is Rodriguez and his partner is Jim Belushi, congrats, you like Pac more than I do. Dogshit.

I can't prove it, but I'm sure Juice was released in theaters. Roger Ebert reviewed it, so did Entertainment Weekly. No great whoop but more press than a straight-to-video release would get.

Not in the UK, definitely.

Either way. It's not the best in a limited Genre. His character was one dimensional and at times the acting was cringe worthy.

I agree with you. Bullet is probably one of the worst films I have ever seen, and the acting was criminal.

Gang Related was disappointing. I like Jim Belushi. So I was sad. The script again was awful, and the acting poor. But the Sdtrk was good.

Poetic Justice was a shit film, but probably the second best for Tupac's acting.
