pac said he's not the same person as the rapper. so a track is a track,if he talked about killing someone,doesnt mean he really wanted it to happen. for example,he talk bout killing niggaz.

suppose biggie died before pac,what do you think pac would have said? do u think he'd make a track praising whoever killed big? or being happy cuz big died bcuz he was always hoping for it to happen? hell no. he'd call it a sad unfortunate situation,maybe mention him every now and then(respectfully). pac wasnt a monster.he still had a big heart regardless of what he said.

if u ever god mad at someone,u'd say i hope that motherfucker dies,or im gonna kill that son of a bitch. but suppose later that person passed, would u say hell yeah, fuck that bitch,he/she got killed. lets have a party....or would you be sad?

But then Pac said rappers need to be responsible for their lyrics and I'm sure I heard another time him say they shouldnt. I've contradicted myself many times and I'd like to see anyone who hasnt. Even the biggest freedom fighters of history have done this so its unfair to expect that of a 20 something year old.

Anyway, Pac contradicting himself doesnt take anything away from his music in my opinion. It just shows that he was human, like anyone else. Also, wouldnt ones music get boring if they talked about the same thing in every song?? Pac gave you variety. If you wanted straight up political shit, he had it. If you wanted gangsta shit, he had that. You want some deep, intellectual shit? He had that too. I definatly dont agree with everything he said, but I can see why he said some of the things he did. Like someone said earlier, you make songs based on what emotion you are feeling at the time. If he was mad or having a bad day, songs like Lil Homiez, Hit Em Up, Open Fire, etc were the product of that. If he was feeling a little more level headed, you got songs like Smile, So Many Tears, etc......music is art and is MEANT to be flawed. People, not robots, make music. Well, most of the time. If were talking about Justin Timberlake or Britany Spears, that might be a different story. But in the case of a REAL songwriter like Pac.....no way.
