because there is no proof at all to suggest that another version of Death around the Corner exists. the whole "rumor" started because someone made a thread saying "is that 2pac or stretch doing the 3rd verse". Someone said "maybe theres a version with Stretch" and it snowballed from then on

thats like saying "maybe theres a version of Hit Em Up with Big Syke, because we all know Syke made songs with 2pac, and 2pac made alot of songs, so why not?"

That's an interesting theory. But without any proof obviously there's no case.

With that said, he does a pretty damn good imitation of Stretch, assuming that's what he was doing.
