This may be news to only me, and I'm sorry if it is; but 2pac's Official Site is relaunching in 6 days. Promising previously unreleased footage, among other things. Maybe we will receive information about the new album, but this is probably wishful thinking.

2Pac

There are so many spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes on that page. It truly saddens me.

So they really decided to put something like this on 2pac.com? It looks almost like a site hacked by a group of kids from Armenia.. who were in a hurry. Even I'm not making that many mistakes when I'm in a hurry.

mostly dude just doesnt know where to put periods or commas...

Mostly, dude doesn't know the difference between the possessive and the plural. It's not "Hollywoods hottest clubs", it's Hollywood's hottest clubs. It's not fans treasure chest, it's fan's treasure chest. It's not privledges, it's privileges. It's not ths, it's this. It's up close, not upclose. It's reflect, not relfect. "Enter to win DreamPac prizes, a be famous". I'm pretty sure it should say "and be famous". It's not "enter on of many", it's "enter one of many". It's not thier, it's their.

So, yeah. It is shameful.

You serious?

I am actually too much of a grown up for 2pac now. He isn't hip-hop's Elvis. Just a poorly managed caricature of his old self. I mean, I know he's dead. But come on.

Unfortunately it is real.

2Pac Poker is too funny.

I appreciate the nostalgia it gives. I don't really look at things I did in the past and think I'm too adult for them now, and on the other hand neither do I revisit them because they entertain me the way they used to. It's a good mixture of having a deep passion for the instrumentation / sound / melodies of his songs, and Pac having been an influental part of my life in some way or another (I didn't start smoking hash by mere chance :p).

So yeah, I was serious, the last round of leaks satisfied old urges. I still play Pac on a monthly basis because I just straight love the full sound of his music. Has a lot to do with my remixing / "beat making" past.

While I consider your sentiment poorly worded, I think I understand what you are trying to say, That is, if you are saying that you have matured to the point, where Tupac's romanticism seems almost immature and insignificant. I have felt that way before, you do tend to take yourself too seriously when you are younger. But when my dad died recently, I have taken solace in his music. So I have to disagree with you. I think it is a matter of being able to relate to his music on a personal level, even if it's only in an obscure way.

To an extent. Yes.

But I am thinking the estate is marketing him to someone who really isn't me. And all the fan sites are run my children. Therefore I have decided this must mean that he isn't for me. I have fond memories. But I have moved on. AS his music would have would he have lived.

Ah, I thought you were talking about 2pac on the whole, not as he is being represented now. I fully agree with you to that extent.
