anyone heard of solillaquist of sound. they are from the orlando area. they just got signed to epitaph records. their record with epitaph comes out around sept, they will be doing a pretty big tour. they said there is a pretty big artist who will be opening for them, it is a person they should be opening for.
one of the members of their group, DiViNCi, is a graduate from my school and comes back every month and does a show for the students in the MIDI class. well yesterday was my day that i got to see him. HE KICKS FUCKING ASS!!!! he puts on such an amazing performance. http://www.myspace.com/divinci
he takes two mpc 2000xl's and rocks out. he uses a few other tools like a wah pedal and a kaos sound effects pad, but the guy is intense.
i recorded about an hours worth of him performing and talking to us. i'll upload it later. the recording sucks because it was with a voice recorder but you can still hear it alright.
i'll also upload some tracks from his instrumental album and from the solillaquist of sound live cd i purchased off of him.
