I can't believe this hasn't come up in here yet with all the females here lol
But how many of you girls watch soap operas? I watch Days Of Our Lives and Passions. I hafta watch my soaps, they let me know my life ain't so bad after all lol Days has more people dying and coming back and getting amnesia and sleeping with each other's husbands. But they're just funny to watch.
So lemme know which soaps y'all watch, if any. Anybody else watch Days and Passions? Let's discuss.

I whatched Passions for a while though (after i heard there was a monkey in it) turns said monkey was never there
I dont really watch soap operas in English for one theyre all on when Im at school, and to me they seem so fake I dunno, the people just dont know how to act there. They should take lessons from the Spanish soap opearas they're so dramatic! I even cried coz of one once

I used to watch Days of our lives but it got too weird. As for passions, lol, it was ok but the doll boy thing kinda ruins it. I sometimes watch bold and beautiful - but its been kinda incestuous here at the moment... I think the episodes are behind... anyway, bridget is marrying nick who was engaged to brooke who is now married to ridge who had feelings for bridget despite the fact they were previously thought to be half brother and sister... i mean, wtf. lol! Who writes this shit?!

umm. i watch The OC. cant wait for season 3 to start this september i watch One Three Hill too. Chad Micheal Murray is so sexy its mostly all for the moment. Gilmore Girls is good too but last years i had not enough time to see it

Don't really watch them, I used to watch Sunset Beach though I have no real idea why, don't think it even shows in the UK anymore.

^ I've never watched that show, I've only ever associated it with Joey from 'Friends' - another show I watch come to think of it.

Friends is prolly my most loved sitcom, I have all the episodes on DVD and never seem to tire of watching old eps, they always seem to cheer me up

All I watch is Passions, I used to watch Days of Our Lives, but that was a loooong time ago. Passions is hilarious to me and they do crazy things to keep the show funny, like a comedy instead of constant drama.

I take my lunch at work every day at 2pm so that I can watch it.

I don't watch any soap operas, at least the ones here are dreadful! There are all form Mexico, Columbia and other latin countries, and they are always the same: the poor girl falls in love with the rich guy, but a rich and evil woman wants to marry the rich guy so she does all kind of evil stuff, but in the end true love wins. Lol. And everything with a really funny latin accent

^lol thats so true the plots are always the same but those damned people make it seem so real! what accents? we have no accents

latin accents... people from Mexico for example, they speak very differently to us. In Buenos Aires we have no accents at all, but in other countries... I don't know how to describe it, but it's completely different lol. So when I watch a soap operas from any of that countries it's really funny, but just cuz they sound weird compared to people here.

And the plots are always the same, but I have to admit they are catching all the same. My grandma watches them everyday so when I'm with her I ask her to tell me the plot, and although I think they are very stupid I really feel the need to know what's going to happen next

anyways on topic, yea i do that to, i ask my aunts and gramma whats going on even though, they ALL end the same way;
Girl falls in love=Guy is with the 'evil' chick=evil chick does something wrong= guy falls in love with the main character=evil chick dies=guy and main character girl get married and live happily ever after lol
