u never heard someone with nextel hit the button on the side of the phone and it makes a distinctive noise. It's like a walkie talkie and it's free. Doesn't use any of your minutes. It has it's own seperate number.

Nextel is through Sprint, so I think in Canada they have Sprint for home service (which we don't have that option here) but not for cell phone service. But Nextel phones can be used worldwide. So i'm sure they'll be in Canada soon... America jr is always just a little behind us.

some kid in one of my classes had his set on the guido-loud setting and a voice came out of that huge black box some call nextels and screamed "PAY ME YOU FUCK"
