What did you really expect? It was obvious that thread was 80% freeposting. Dudes like Rukas were very nice because I know they hate it. Actually, I think it was the only thread that got away with freeposting.

I am not defending what Rukah because I don't care about that thread, but at least we understand why it was closed. Sad to see an OG thread like that die, though...

Correct, the disrespecting of other peoples' pictures was only a fraction of the reason as to why it was closed. The main reason was the countless times people were warned about freeposting, yet continued to do it gleefully. Moderators are currently in the process of deleting the freeposts, so in another couple of years when that's done it may be reopened with new regulation.

Moderators are currently in the process of deleting the freeposts, so in another couple of years when that's done it may be reopened with new regulation.

I didn't see anything wrong with an occasional posting of comments about other members pictures (because i did it too heh) but soon as people like Lost Tapes start insulting people's pictures, then it's fucking wack. The thread is there so people can see pictures, not read what people have to say to each other. The mods will have to decide on what to do about posts what need to be deleted in the future.

I don't know how well it would work here, but on another forum I frequent, we have two pinned topics for pictures:

"The Official Post Your Picture Thread", where you just post your picture. NO comments at all. Anyone that comments in the thread is given a warning and if they continue to comment in the thread while it's expressly stated that you're not to do that, they get dealt with a little more harshly.

and the "Official Picture Place Discussion" thread, where people comment on the photos posted in the pic thread.

I don't know how well it would work here, but there it works pretty good.
