yeah so i just finished reading it...anyone else read it? what'd you think?

personally i couldn't put it down. i mean i didnt know anything about the red hot chili peppers before i read it, but i bought it because heaps of people at school were talking about what a nutcase he was and i generally like reading biographys of people who led interesting lives (marlon brando people). but yeah, i ended up coming home drunk as a skunk a few times at 4 am and still i'd stay up reading it until i passed out. are we even allowed to talk about books in here? haha

nope havnt read it..i havnt read a full book in a while...i just stick to the newspaper and articles..etc..

the only way you wold know that is if you were the webmaster of that site you freak. you can go back to watching your favorite show sex and the city now!

i don't read biographies.

i can't wait to read the 7th book of the harry potter series :D i pre-ordered it and should be receiving it on the 23rd :)

well for starters this guy's dad was a drug dealer and he grew up in LA witnessing his dad and all his friends doing all kinds of drugs, throwing parties, fucking different girls, etc. his dad let him smoke weed when he was 11 and by 12/13 he was doing coke, pills, and hanging out in vip rooms of clubs with all his dad's junkie friends. his dad let him fuck one of his girlfriends when he was 12 years old.

from then on it goes in to detail about his various drug addicitions, how he met the other members of the band, how he almost killed himself various times, stories from when the band toured, relationships, effects from the deaths of people such as slovak, cobain and phoenix, rehabilitations and then more relapses, etc.

pretty crazy stuff.

i don't read biographies.
really? i ONLY read biographies.

^Why...what's your fascination with other people's lives? I mean, you read the dude's biography and you're probably thinking (if you're not one of those persons in denial), "wow, my life sucks. I wasn't even jerkin at 12 years old."

Life is what you make it to be yourself god damn it i mean if you look at a biogrpahy like this or withstanding it could of been Auto biograhphy meaning (written by the idnividual hisself) it adds a depth of realism to it. the story aforementioned is a story that is attacahed to deferent decals in life. the drugs the alcohol the violence the parties its all symbolism for and if we live our own lives. in the journey to realization of a greater force we must first recongnize and not tribulize our own Great force within us. this force alows us to destroy things to create things to get drunk pass out things to party until you dont know who your uncle was or was going to be before you had started the night before. sex at 12 is the symbolism of a mission of eroticism that few gain experience thereof in to. hell, yes we get to experient and we get to learn and get to grow at stag es like this before venturing ourselves into adult hood and before the added attachments of demands from self appreciating whores like financial stability housing food and more appreciation outward to the whore. within parties we learn who to trust who to keep an hawk eye on and who not to fuck. we learn the ins and outs of drinking the fucked combinations the attitudes the aditioanl adrenaline thru and not witholding crack cocaine despite many exploit in system and exhibistousist attitudes toward abetter society we throw self examition in disguse of praising heroes in society like whoever this man anthony kiedis decidesto be and examples he chooses to set for the world and more importantly his fan base.

what the fuck are you talking about you weirdo? i don't have a "fascination with other people's lives", but if im going to read a book, i don't want to read some fantasy, made up stuff like, for example harry potter or lord of the rings, i want to read something real, that really happened, that i know is true. that's just a personal preference.

i just thought it was a cool book, lol. im a young male and like most young males, i enjoy entertainment about sex, drugs, partying and violence. if you haven't read the book and it doesn't interest you just leave the thread, i don't know why you're attacking me.

you seem like an angry, bitter, negative dude, just the type of person i don't associate with in real life. good luck with that.

lol at "weirdo". I found that hilarious. Hey when did you come back?

Oh I havent read the book..I mostly read autobiographies..

lol. i just popped in today, thought i'd see what's been happening. how have you been bro?

yeah, it's pretty good i thought. i've read muhammad ali's, marlon brando's, lance armstrong's.. and a few others i think... i think only lance's was auto biography though, kiedis' is too.

Doesnt seem to be the stuff i would be interested in reading it.
that's cool. so what kind of books do you guys like reading then? any recommendations?

I just asked a question. You said "I ONLY read biographies." That part just jumped out at me. My bad if you got your feelings hurt.

but if im going to read a book, i don't want to read some fantasy, made up stuff like, for example harry potter or lord of the rings, i want to read something real

Yes, because there's only two categories of books: Fiction and Biographies. :)
