Before Snoop Dogg was busy turning himself in on a "weapon" charge, the rapper was in Denmark for the MTV European Music Awards and upsetting the country’s Crown Prince.
According to AM New York, Snoop and Prince Frederick were among the crowds of men in the VIP room of Copenhagen 's Oil Restaurant and Bar when Snoop dispatched his bodyguards to get rid of the men so that more women could squeeze in.
A club employee had to inform Snoop that the Crown Prince of Denmark was one of the men his bodyguards were trying to usher out of the room. Also, Prince Frederick’s security team were said to have had a few words with the rapper’s bodyguards.
Snoop ended up apologizing for the faux pas and managed to avoid another public relations disaster…until a warrant was issued for his arrest back in the states.
AM New York is also reporting that cops raided the bar at the club and allegedly caught Snoop in possession of marijuana, which caused him to miss his performance at the party. He was replaced by Nelly Furtado.
On Monday, Snoop turned himself in to authorities in Orange County, Calif., where he was charged with possessing a deadly weapon -- a 20-inch collapsible baton he attempted to carry onto a plane on Sept. 27. He is free on $150,000 bond.
