I don't care who you are or where you're from. These laws are meant to discriminate against drug users. They're not targeting any single race. If a certain race is using drugs, fine....let the laws discriminate against them. It was that race's choice.

The inner city is always portrayed as this "bad" place...only because of drug users. You could take drug users out of inner-cities, and only poverty would be left. Currently, there's poverty, crime, and unemployment in inner-cities.

Its not like it being illegal makes it any harder for people to get... the fuckin kids no where to get the shit, and they will blow large amounts of cash to get high, so its better off legal.

That's not true. Making it illegal does make it more difficult. Drug users have to cover up their crimes, and the law makes it a lot more difficult to transport drugs. The point is that the law is effective to some degree...it is doing something.

Fear is another thing that keeps kids from using drugs...the fear of being caught by the police.

You know why crime is on the rise because of drugs? Because they are illegal. If they werent illegal then people wouldnt have to steal your rims to buy drugs.

Yes to support their drug habbit which they have to because drugs are illegal which makes a gram of crack twenty dollars instead of 3 dollars. And that was a pretty dumb analogy since we arent talking about stealing drugs. :thumb:

Well i know that i can get a Kilo of crack for 1/4 then people would buy it for. And i know that the person that cooked it up made a good profit. And i also know that the person who shipped the cocaine to America made a good profit. And it takes alot more money sending some drugs to america then some bananas since its illegal. Now if you take into count the cut the stores and companys make it still would be a hell of alot cheaper than what it is right now.

Legalizing drugs would make crime go down. Sure making it legal might cause some more crimes like the ones you described but i think general crime related to drugs will go down if drugs become legal.

Nah, I wasn't saying that everyone in the inner-cities are on drugs, I was saying that your answer is to the problems that drugs cause is to imprisoning all the drug users. Well, by that logical, we solve poverty by imprisoning all the poor people.

I agree weed isnt that bad, but it is illegal and I dont want someone driving after smoking pot. I have been in cars when people ahve driven high and its not good.

I think they need to get rid of the fucking drug dealers. They need to clean up the ghettos and get all the shit out. If they did that, all crime would go down. They need to make huge motherfucking busts on the coke dealers in Columbia and elsewhere and stop the shit. People will stop dying from addiction and anything else related to the drug game.

I think you should go to jail if you know some guy is dealing drugs near kids (which this is mostly aimed at). Kids have enough troubles in their lives, and dont need to get caught up in drugs. It is very bad and just perpetuates the cycle. If the fucking dealers are taken off the streets and the product is taken out, crime will go way down.

Harsh punishments are needed to stop drugs. There need to be examples made of people and hopefully end all this shit. Everyones lives will get better without the drugs in this country.

Where I'm at I feel like ANYONE is using it. But that ain't the point, I don't want everyone to use it, not at all, I just want my personal freedom to do it myself. I don't want to drag noone into this, it's all about me. I just want my freedom, that's all.

Sorry homie, but do you have also a plan how to get rid of the drug dealers? That's bullshit, you watch too much TV and/or Bush's shitty speeches, anyway, if you know how it works you'll realize that this simple won't happen. For every drug dealer they pull over one or two new pop up, that's a fact. Every week the pull someone over here and I still can smoke my weed. Just 2 weeks ago the caught a girl I met once with 22 kg of hash and an other dude too with more then 20 kg in my hood, what happend, well, it was for 3 days a lil harder to get some weed, again a lil harder not impossible at all, now everything is back to normal.

What people have to understand that people want to use drugs. It's not like durg dealer are the root of all evil and drag anyone into drug abuse. Usually teh drug dealers don't go to the kids offering them drugs, the kids want to try it, the kids want to use drugs. They are ofter the ones approching the dealer. And as long it's like this, you won't be able to stop people from selling drugs. So the question is why do many people want to use drugs? Seriously, I came to the conclusion that it's human. So many want to get fucked up in one or the other way, I think it's human to have a kind of an outlet. Some drink liquor, some do drugs and girls eat chocolate.

It's human nature too to lose control, some do. I know that. I never said drugs are all good.

^exactly, Bill Hicks once said "Its not a war on drugs its a war on personal freedom" and thats exactly what it is. Just because something becomes legal doesn't mean everybody is going to do it.

And not everybody driving high is a bad thing...personally I always make stupid mistakes when Im driving sober, rather than when Im high. But from personal experience I know that some people can't handle the 2 2gether. It all depends on personal tolerance and such, which is why Weed should be legalized in a way like alcohol - and punishment only given when abuse comes into play.
