Why is everything is life always rush, rush, rush?!

I hate when people call in on the phone and start talking before you can get out a "hello" speed through whatever issue it is they may have, cut you off when you try to speak and then catch an attitude that you aren't talking as fast as them.

I hate when i'm minding my business driving the speed limit and some idiot is driving behind me on my bumper like a maniac because I won't speed too! Go around me you idiot!

I hate when someone arrives somewhere a bit tardy and instead of being happy that they made it at all...people decide to fuss and complain that the person is late. Never once stopping to ask why the person was late in the first place.

Why are we always rushing through life? What are we rushing to?

Then why are you always in the fast lane or mid lane then?

When i'm not speeding, i'm not in either of those lanes. I wouldn't hold up traffic for no reason (as cliche as that sounds) because I usually speed a lot myself and I know how it feels to be stuck behind a slow driver. It sucks. However, I don't have my car anymore and when i'm driving someone else's car...I treat it with more respect than my own. I don't want a ticket on someone else's car. I stay to the right and out of the way...people will still tailgate me as opposed to going around. But the point of the thread is why all the rushing in life in general?

We all rush through life cause that's what our society is like. We live in a very fast society and a very fast time (from inet 2 cars that can go that fast 2 ... cell phones that make us avaible all the time) ...... that's the way we are educated and society wants us to be this way too. If everybody would chill, we (as population) wouldn't have the output that we have if they make us this way (one reason why they keep herbs banned is that it would chill people too much and no one cares if u feel good or not, they just care about you as workforce). It all comes down to money and economy.

That's something more common in Western Societies. You should see how relaxed it is in some European/Asian countries.

oh man i hate it when someone i'm waiting for arrives late. i'm the type of person who is at least 5 minutes earlier to be sure i'm not late and i expect the same from the other person. so it pisses me off if the other person is late. i make sure i am not late, why don't they do the same? and it's not about rushing things up, it's about having a minimum of respect for the person you are meeting.

society is moving fast. after all, we only have 24 hours in a day. i don't know about you, but for me those 24 hours are not enough. but yeah we should learn how to chill more. be more relax. but i guess it's part of our culture to rush everything.

But you're angry before you even know what happened. What if the person's mom was ran over by a car and the car caused a pile up on the expressway which blocked traffic for hours causing the person to fall asleep at the wheel and get a ticket for sleep driving and that's why they're late? We never know a person's situation yet we automatically assume the worst :(

I'm that type of person who is at least 15 minutes to late and I don't give a fuck. The party starts when I'm there, so in my opinion I can't be too late anyway. I'm always late.

I don't agree at all. Europe is just as busy as the US and Asia, it depens where you go. Seriously, it depens on the money, go to africa, to a poor country in africa and time has a total new meaning, believe me. Europe, tz. I've been to countries where they don't even know what a clock is, so therefore they don't rush.....I loved it, but you also gotta accept that you might wait 3 hours for the bus, maybe 8 hours ... or even 2 days..... that's relaxin but I don't think you could cope with that syn, to be honest.

I'm always running late...
5 miles over the speed limit is not REALLY speeding...Please for everyones sake do 40 in the 35...

I hate when people want you to show up at a place say like 1:30
You arrive at 1:15, but you don't see them till 1:45 or 2:00.
But then they get mad, when you ask them why they couldn't be be on time.

Waiting two days for a bus?! Hell no! LMAO. But the relaxing and slowing down sounds great :)

Not to mention that you wouldn't get on what they call a bus anyway. It's not like you have seats and that stuff..... plus it's not like u wait in a city for the bus, you wait under a tree in the middle of nowhere and after one day, when you start to run out of water, you wonder if you'll ever leave this place lol - anyway, time is something different there.

I hate how fast this world we live in turns, cause it seems like you can't escape so.... I guess I do what I gotta do.

buy an ipod. I don't care if people are late usually, I just chill and do what I do. I always have music on me, I always have a pen and paper with me, I always have my mind and 1000 of thoughts with me.

I hate that shit too!:fury: A nice little brake check usually does the trick! wanna ride my ass fine, keep it up you'll be in my passenger seat. I am 28 years old with no tickets an no accidents I prefer to keep it that way, don't like the speed I'm going PASS or you can pay my insurance, gas an any tickets i may receive while driving like a tool an I will be more then happy to go as fast as you like.Till then move your lead foot ass to the left in the passing lane an continue on your merry way an when i see you pulled over to the right a few miles ahead an the nice officer is handing you that nice crisp piece of paper for driving like an idiot, pay close attention to the smile on my face:cool:

Other thing that goes along with that, that I can not stand is when I'm on the express way here in MI the speed limit is 70 I typically do 75-80 which most cops don't give a shit till you hit that 12+ miles per hour over the limit anyway I'll be doing 80 an passing someone in the passing lane an some clown will ride my ass trying to get me to do 95, hey fuckhead this isn't Germany if 80 isn't fast enough for you wait till I pass grandma here doing 45 I will then switch back to the right lane so you can get your ADHD suffering self elsewhere till then back the fuck off an take your Ritlin

You think you're cool by saying how you don't mind time, how you're always relaxed, etc. You don't understand how the other person waits when he/she has to wait for you. It's called being attentive of other people's feelings.

I can't believe a person that's always running late is giving punctual people ideas about how to stay busy. It's idiotic.

I could care less about what people do with their time here as long as it doesn't affect me directly. I'd rather take my time to get something done correctly and done once, then rush and have a million incomplete things or badly done things.

I drive slightly slow or at the speed limit, but I'm usually on time.

People rush and rush and rush, then one day they wake up and they're in their mid-40's with children wondering where did my life fly off to? Sure we're all going to die, it's the only sure thing we know in life. But whats the point rushing your life until the point where it's come and almost gone in the snap of a finger?

But like I said I could care less what people do with their time. I'll sit back, stay relaxed and live my life how I see fit. All in all smirk at these fags who believe they'll get more "accomplished" in life if they rush. When the truth is the only true accomplishment we as humans can reach is having children and being happy.

I'd rather lay on the grass listen to a mellow jam and watch the clouds pass by then to be rushing to get some bullshit major done at whatever college, which in the end leads you to the same place. A wooden box.

peace.

Life is short, people try to make all they can out of it. I do agree tho that people who rush through things can tend to be assholes(me included)

First of all, I'm not always relaxed or whatever and I'm often late cause I lack of time...... but I'm late often, almost always. Maybe it's a bad habit, BUT I don't piss no one else off if they are late neigther - so what's idiotic about it? I am late myself so I don't blame other people if they are late and so I invented methods to stay busy if someone else is late...... and now I just stated my opinion what I do if someone is I'm waitin for is late, well - you can listen or not, I don't care, it works for me.
