Ben Harper is for suburban high school upperclassmen who want something more dangerous than Dave Matthews Band and college students who are big fans of what the bookstore sells but don't want to alienate their pledge brothers.

With that said, his first two albums are pretty damn good.

i slap you back for slapping me. i'm the biggest ben harper fan on the board. every album he has put out is pretty damn good. there is only one that i dont really like and i still think its a good album. i play "the three of us" and " power of the gospel" everyday on my guitar. i've been a huge fan for a long time.

i cant wait for the day when jack johnson and ben harper make an album together. they always sound great when they jam. their cover of bob marley's high tide low tide is the greatest cover of all time

i really liked the album with blind boys of alabama. they won a grammy for it. i think they won for the song 11th commandment. i would up load some songs but they are in mpeg4 since i copied it off cd to itunes. its worth buying i think. there is a live dvd coming out soon , unless its already out, with ben and the blind boys perfomring a bunch of songs.
