This is how you need to eat, Yupanqui. Don't stuff yourself with McDonald's or other fattening foods trying to gain weight. It'll just make you sick. I'm afraid these weight gain powders won't work either. If you're not starving, and eating normally, then you are probably at the right weight for you. You might not like it, but that's what you're stuck with.

Can you easily encircle one of your wrists with your other hand's thumb and forefinger? You probably have long bones but a small structure. There's just so much fat or muscle your bones will hold and that's it. I've seen this body type a lot. All you can do is eat right, and lift weights to at least get muscle tone, but you will not gain weight.

Jokerman the body type you are refering to is ectomorph, it's true that if you are born with this body type then you'll never be a profeessional bodybuilder or anything like that but you can drastically alter you muscle mass and become what most people would term as "stacked".
I've been training for two years and i've put on 11kg in that time and I was skinny as hell, a famous example of some one going from very skinny to very large is luis ferrigno (granted he took steroids)

You are right that most weight gainers do not work and are exspensive, but if you did want to take something to increase the muscle gains, creatine is the strongest non harmfull supplement out there, it has been clinacally proven to help 70% who take it to help them gain 14 pounds within three weeks (didn't work for me though :( )

But I say agian, DIET IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT WILL HELP YOU GET TO THE SIZE THAT YOU WANT!! SO GET THAT SORTED
 
eat 3-4 meals per day and make sure there really filling
i notice, asians(like my self) like to eat every 2 hours and dont each much every meal and your digestive system can take it so u dont get big, but i notice alot of white people like to eat tiny breafakst like cerial then a tiny lunch like a sandwhich and for dinner they like to pack it sooooooo much thats y alot of them get obease,
do 3 BIG meals and ur digestive system will slow down heaps and then the protein and other shit will go into your stream
and lifting weights doesnt make you big, eating does , then lift weights

Im the same. Don't worry about it. With age the lbs are gonna start packing. For now just appreciate the fact you can eat whatever you want. I know I do. :D
