I haven’t spoken to my sibling in years, but my reason behind it has to do with my son. But you will be happy to know that my son does speak and see my sibling because my sibling has kids, i don’t feel its right for me to pass my judgment of my sibling off to my son I will let him make his own decisions and right now he decides to see my sibling and his cousins.

I also see my nephews as well when i go home and speak to them on the phone from time to time when there at my sons home.

There's more to a person that what their actions show so I feel that it's wrong to disown family for things. If my brother was a pedophile, I wouldn't shield him from the law, but I wouldn't refuse to be a brother to him.

If you have done all you can and your siblings refuse to communicate with you, support you, there's not much you can do, but I have a feeling most people on here who don't communicate with their siblings haven't got to that point of not having any other option.

All this is easy for you to say because your not in the situation. Its not your place to judge people, you call people stupid yet you know jack shit about their situation.

I didn't say I don't get along with my family, I don't have issues with them but people drift apart, I hadn't seen one of my brothers for half my life until my Dad died.
