Aside from the pancakes part, the story is true. Prince did whup Charlie's ass at b-ball. He is a sick ass baller and was one of the stars of his high school team in Minneapolis. I don't think he played ball in his full stage outfit though. And I'm pretty sure he never hung out with Micki Free from Shalamar either.

The strange thing is that I have an unreleased Prince video from about 2000/2001 where he is playing basketball in the video........with Dave Chappelle. And that obviously predates Chappelle's Show by a few years.
