Hi to all.

SH Awards 2008 were a huge failure. In part because there was never a follow up to the nominations.

So I am taking over this task as Tha Wood as disappeared. If somebody wants to volunteer to help, we could work out something. So PM in regards to that.

Threads for nominations will be up again soon. Brand new threads. We will keep the awards of the failed 2008 edition. If you got any new ideas for the awards, please post them here.

Any posts irrelevant will be deleted. Also do not create new threads or they will deleted as well in this subforum.

Well this should be done at the end of the year so we can base the nominations on the performance of that year etc etc etc. Makes no sense to make a 2009 awards when the year just started.

2009 would reflect 2008, 2010 would reflect 2009, I don't understand why so many people are trippin over the awards. You don't have to be apart of it, if you don't want to.

We usually used to do them every August or so. 2008 sucked cuz it never took off, don't jump on carmi's back cuz she's trying to fix that shit. We have more members engaged in active threads now then we did when the 2008 version tried to take off.

Also may i add, we should scrap the nomination process, someone will get nominated 10 times, meaning the actual voting having no point. A set group of people (5 or so) should think of nominations for each award and let the other peasants vote.

^but then who should decide of the nominated ones? I wouldn't take the responsibility of doing that on my own, making the whole thing very biased (more biased than if we do nomination threads)

As Sigh said, we are doing them now to vote for 2008. The Oscars do it, the Grammys do it, why not SH? It's normal to do Awards the following year for the past year.

And there will be no awards as to physical appearance of members. We do not know how everybody looks like and we are past that.
