Yeah, sounds like another Jack the Ripper-wannabe. s'all over the news. Though probably not in Los Angeles.

They've dubbed him the Suffolk Strangler which, not to make light of the situation, is a shit name. The Suffolk-ater (geddit? suffocater...) would have been much better.

lol , thats funny in sort of an akward way. Yeah saw this shit on Sky news , what the fuck is this idiot doing , them prossies need to start carrying switch blades on their asses , stab the motherfucker in the balls or something.

Well that would just be giving the serial killer what he wants.

If anything, this adds credence to the idea that prostitution should be legalised and regulated.

I agree - like it is in amsterdamn.

people are going to do it whether it is legal or not - they need to make these woman safe.

Police hunting the Suffolk serial killer are due to name the two women whose bodies were found a short distance apart in woodland yesterday.

The women are likely expected to be identified as missing prostitutes Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls.

Confirmation is expected at the next police news conference at 11am. Sky News will have all the details as soon as they happen.

The discovery of the bodies yesterday near the village of Levington, south-east of Ipswich, took the number of murdered street girls to five.

Miss Clennell, 24, had not been seen since Saturday night, while Miss Nicholls, 29, had vanished on December 4. Both were from Ipswich.

A huge manhunt is under way to find their killer. Detectives are hoping to recover DNA evidence from the latest scene to help track him down.

Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls Det Chief Supt Stewart Gull, who is leading the investigation, said: "This is so fast-moving.

"We need to take stock and maximise opportunities to recover forensic evidence from the scene."

All five murdered prostitutes were found close to the A14 dual carriageway which links the Suffolk port of Felixstowe with the Midlands.

The naked body of Gemma Adams, 25, of Ipswich, was discovered on December 2 in woodland at Hintlesham, on the outskirts of Ipswich. She had last been seen on November 15.

On December 8 the body of Tania Nicol, 19, of Ipswich, was found in nearby Copdock. She was the first to disappear and had last been seen on October 30.

The naked body of Anneli Alderton, 24, from Colchester, Essex, was discovered at the weekend in Nacton, a few miles further east. She had been strangled.

Victims: Tania, Anelli, Gemma Referring to the latest bodies, DCS Gull said: "These have been found not far from where Anneli was found and I fear the worst.."

No other prostitutes were currently missing, he added.

Suffolk Chief Constable Alastair McWhirter said he was bringing in officers from other forces to help with the investigation, including Scotland Yard.

He described the inquiry as "unprecedented", adding: "If you think of the Yorkshire Ripper, the murders took place over a long period of time."

Only last Tuesday, Miss Clennell said she was prepared to dice with danger by going back on the streets because "I need the money".

In a TV interview, she said the killings had made her "a bit wary about getting into cars" but she would probably still do it anyway.

Miss Clennell's father Brian, from Berwick, has pleaded for people to get in touch to help find the "pervert" and "psycho" carrying out the murders.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Suffolk police hotline on 0800 096 1011.
