Technology Search Assistant - An uninvited visitor

Does anyone know how to remove SearchAssistant for good. My brother has been looking at the wrong websites, and now a program is installed called Search Assistant. I have removed it several times, ran spybot S&D and Adaware Personal. It still keeps coming back. And his bird is doing my head in about it.
Any way to get rid of it?

do that again, search all files +folders using windows search, delete all traces of it (like in program files) and clear out your whole temp folder as well. Also check registry values for it through regedit, delete all that you find thru the search. Also run msconfig to see that no suspicious programs are running at startup.

I cant get rid off this searchmiracle.elite tool bar and some other shit, everytime I remove it with the anti-spy/adware prog. I restart my comp and half the shit has returned, it keeps changing my homepage by itself to some gay search engine and I keep getting pop up ads.

If u guys are using windows xp..make sure to turn off "System Restore"..before you remove the spyware..then turn it back on after u have successfully removed tha spyware..
