I was bored earlier on so i flicked though my CD collection and seen this gem. Popped it on my CD player and instantly remembered why i loved it, this CD is great. From Safe to Fixed there ain't a song i dont like, theres the Kanye produced Guess Whos Back which features great verses from Jay Z and Beanie Sigel then on On My Block which has 'Face flowing over an extremely hypnotic piano laced beat. Then theres the great collaboration between Scarface and Nas on In Between Us in which Nas spits a great verse and the chorus fits the song perfectly. I Ain't The One featuring WC is another great collabo. The beat sounds very Westcoast but 'Face rips it none the less. After listening to the CD once i just had to repeat it, and repeat it and repeat it. Now its very easy to see why The Source gave this 5 stars.

What does everyone else feel on this album ?

Tight CD, one of his best. I would still only give it about 4 1/2 mics, just short of a classic, because it's too short. When the CD ends, you wish there was more.
My favorite tracks: In Cold Blood, On My Block, In Between Us, Sellout, Heaven

Saying "Scarfaces weakest CDs" is like saying "Kobe Tai weakest porn scene".....It's still pretty damn good.

I agree, this is more mainstream, but there still isn't a bad song on there.

By the way, I love going back through my collection and bumping all the old shit that I "forgot" about...makes me remember why I love rap so much.

Liked it when it only came out, then reality sank in. It's like Dres 2001 album, Good production, but for the most part weak lyrics.
"Heaven" could have been SOO much better, instead it's a cheesy ass song.
Same goes for "What Can I Do", boy that song could have been so much better.
My favorite cut on the album has to be "In Between Us", and it's not thanks to 'Faces verse either.

Nice album, not too much replay value

the album is a great album, one of the best released at the time. Funny, i just put it back in my cd player yesterday, and been bumpin it since. Its a great album, cuz if u in the mood u can pay attentionto the lyrics and really feel what face is speakin' on, if not, just bump it out on ur system, and its still enjoyable.

Man Scareface kept it real. His beats were more catchy but he keep it real. I mean the most poppish thing face ever put out was my block .. lol he did not turn poppish . I remeber we bumped this the whole summer. a lot of good Cds came out during that time.
