anyone know what this sample is? i've heard it a few times, think it's an old soul song? a guy is talking over "we gotta get rid of the pimps, pushers..."

yeah, it's on a ll cool j song too. i'm pretty sure it's from the movie 'the mack', the 70's movie where goldie is a pimp

yup. you were right. sound track to the film by willie hutch, song is called "brother's gonna work it out". also found the The Mack OST LP in Vinyl on ebay - a perfect addition to any DJ's collection! Thanks.
