Whoever's paying around the £24,000 mark for this, must be smoking something.

Obviously the dude has a lot of talent as he expresses shape, form, line & all the other elements very well but the fact that these paintings contain what they do, makes the price ridiculous.

I'm not even sure if it constitutes abstract, but I do wonder if these paintings are actually supposed to represent something other than what they do at face value.

man don't knock what others are willing to pay for Art, I have seen stuff I deem worthless to be worth a great deal.

and of course there are deeper meanings to the paintings other then the abstract obvious.

i got to see some of his pictures back when i was in school, there was a gallery for 3 days in liverpool, england

I used to like his stuff somewhat cause it looked neat, but then i realized a lot of it is kinda ugly. The women are ugly and disembodied limbs are ugly, etc. But his technique is interesting. The combination of the real with the grotesque is typical in Dali, as well as the sexual images .

I'm just doing what you did except I do actually see some value, just not that much.

I know what abstract is & you say there are 'deeper meanings' which there usually are with abstarct paintings, but I don't have a clue what you mean when you say 'the abstract obvious'.

Yes here in Spain at the REINA SOFIA MUSEUM (madrid)I was able to see it a couple times and you know what I didnt expec the GUERNICA paining to be so big it was like 3 meters high 4 meters wide DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! that shit was tha BOMB!
