Hey guys,
thought i'd do something different and post up a set i record either at home or at a club and post them here. Maybe some of you that want to get into a particular genre will enjoy it.

This mix i did tonight at a club called Korova. It's a very chilled place in the city and so my music needed to be soulful yet danceable. It's a collection of Deep House with westcoast and chicago house influences in there. Something you can just chill to.

I'll do different genres every week so though you might not like a particular one, the next one will be different.

Tracklisting
Sound Diggers - Bud Love
The Sound Republic - Car Sick
Tommy Largo - G Funk
Mark Farina - To Do (Derrick Carter Mix)
White Collar Criminals - I've said enough
Ben Watt feat Estelle - Pop A Cap In Your Ass
Nate Wollman - The French Connection (Le Kirby Melange)
Zero 7 - Home (Ben Watt Remix)
Sound Diggers - Popcorn Party
White Lotus Society - Space Cadillac (Derrick Carter Dub)
Terri Walker feat Mos Def - Guess You Didn't Love Me (Ben Watt Lazy Dog Club mix)
Chuck Daniels & Slater Hogan - Sexy Samba
Everything But The girl - Corcovado (Knee Deep Classic Ben Watt Remix)
Deep Dish - We Gonna Feel It

Approximately 70MB and 75 Minutes Long!

Next mix coming is a drum n bass mix or a rock influenced mix... i'll see how i go.

rock influenced mix next please. :thumb:
Next one i'm planning now... this is going to be different to everything else u've heard. Some songs you'll know. some songs you'll have no idea what they are.
I'm planning the set at the moment and keying it all making sure it fits intogether.
The theme of it is... If you're committing suicide.. u'll be playing this mix in the background!
The likes of The Knife, Perfect Circle/Tool, Rob D, Radiohead and Placebo.
Any songs that you would think that would fit in it let me know. I'm going for darkness... and the songs don't have to have a beat.. if they do. i'd prefer a slow melancholic beat. So excited about this one!

Good good, can't wait to hear it! I love The Knife, definately need to hear some more of their stuff. For darkness, I'd love it if you mixed in some Nine Inch Nails stuff, maybe the tracks Sin, Ruiner, The Big Come Down, stuff like that. Although none of that stuff is really slow and melancholy.

Apologies... not that anybody cares. But i've literally been blind for the past few days (only being able to see for 15 minutes every 4 hours) so i haven't actually mixed. But i'll give an old mix.
quite an old one.. earlier in the year when i did this while teaching someone on the basics of mixing and beatmatching.
Anyway enjoy and now that i can actually see, i'll have a mix up soon...

Was good fun.. it's actually another deep house one. Alot like the first one... but it goes deeper.. Really suits the mood i was in that night.. Started off very mellow... but for certain circumstances started getting lost in myself... and then sunddenly was happy again. (you can hear the sudden dramatic changes in the mix). Anyway hope you enjoy.

The Second Installment of Drum N Bass has been completed. Hopefully it matches the first one..
I was fairly careful about the arrangement and at some points i got a little ambitious :p But hopefully it worked out.
Again it's chilled out like the first one so i hope you enjoy.

I stuff up pretty badly once towards the end so my apologies.. other than that, i'm pretty happy with the mixing of it.
The mixing experience is intensified so much more when tracks are going at 175bpm.. so much fun. Highly recommend it!

Salar... Just put Lautsprecher's "Omnibus" somewhere on your mixes, I'll love you.

It's the second best techno song I've heard in my life.

The first one is Bla Bla Bla by Gigi D'agostino, if you were wondering. (stupid, but I fucking love the song)...

If you don't have Omnibus, tell me, I'll send it to you, its fucking amazing!!!!
