Saigon & Papoose: Proof that NYC is on the way back up?

Now it ain't really been a secret the New York has been it a bit of a slump hip-hop wise recently, forced to take a back seat while the South has flourished. But for me these two have been a breath of fresh air to the NYC scene and hopefully we'll see more like them emerge soon. I kinda feel that it would only be right for NYC to always be at the forefront of Hip-Hop since it all started there. Opinions?

With Saigon maybe, he has the ability to appeal to the mainstream.

With Papoose i feel he maybe be "too" lyrical to go mainstream, although Monopoly was hot.

People have been knowin this. If they go about it right they can be big, they got business minded people behind them though, all is lookin good.
Still love the track with them both called head of state, tight shit.
