Barely a week after severing ties with Atlantic Records, Saigon is closing in on signing a new record deal and rumors have surfaced that the Brooklyn rapper could be headed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation.

Last month, Saigon severed ties with Atlantic Records. The rapper signed to Atlantic in late 2004 and the release of his debut album (The Greatest Story Never Told) was continuously delayed.

“Rumors are gonna be rumors,” Saigon said in response to the Roc Nation rumors. “You can't fight the rumors. Just Blaze and Jay-Z are good friends... It's gonna be big. Where we go is gonna be big. It's gonna make history.”

Saigon revealed that he will be announcing the record label he signs to next month. He plans to have The Greatest Story Never Told out by September 30th.

Saigon also divulged he will be touring with Jay-Z and Rick Ross separately this summer. He will be joining Jay-Z in Germany and Ross in Scandinavia and various other dates.

Saigon will be releasing various viral videos in the coming weeks and will be shooting a video for his single “Gotta Believe” with producer Just Blaze.
