Clearly this man does not give a shit about anybody else then himself, motherfucker doesnt even try to defend what happened to the victims, he just complains about himself... To him this is just a game

it wouldn't be too hard to bribe a poor woman into making this shit up

regardless, it's ridiculous to allow a witness to stay anonymous during the trial. Whether she's lying or teling the truth, the defence will never be able to question her if they don't know who she is.

im not a saddam supporter or do i care for his regime. they did do things that where unmoral and basically evil... (no different than any other govt though) .. if he is found guilty or not guilty i dont care because the whole middle east situation is joke beyond belief.. just let me clarify that right now


anyways.. i have to slightly agree with what khaled said. in america, if subpeoned to testify,. they wont hide your identity, they dont give a fuck what happens to you as long as you do what they want.

why is iraq, who is making a democratic change for america, allowed to have these unfair actions take place in the court room? who are the defence attornys cross examining if they are behind a sheet and there voices covered, that makes no sence..

they shouldnt be up there if they cant be cross examined, thats the whole point of a trial.... (person 1 vs person2)

true, and i agree with you, but those people lived in fear their whole life. they are scared to death that he will or can still kill them. some believe he may still regain power and kill them for going against him. i really think that the only way they could convince these people to testify against saddam was under these conditions that their voice be altered and they not show their face, all because of the fear this man put in their heads.

exactly..if they fear him to the point where they cant face him then their testimony should not be allowed

if you go to trial on some charge, whether you did it or not and the state has people who will testify, you want to see their face right.. you have that right to a fair trial...
