the execution of saddam gives closure to an era (for better or worse).

it's like watching a little piece of human history taking place on the screen. it's not so thrilling to watch a man die, and it's not so thrilling to see saddam, but when you combine the two, it gets interesting.

that's right, interesting. like it's interesting to see a pack of lions maul a gazelle. if you think beyond human nature and moral values, it's a beautiful thing to watch because it is real. in much the same way, this is the first time i see a person die for real.

this has nothing to do with getting your giggles or thrills off. it's about experiencing something that's gonna change the world.
