Pretty dope album, has a few sleepers on it but for the most part Shaft Shizzle came correct.

Saafir's first album in years -- with his sometimes abstract, always compelling rhymes still strong on this set for fellow Bay Area mainstays ABB! Good Game -- The Transition finds Saafir balancing a few fairly playful tracks with deeply personal ones dealing with faith, living life and facing death. Tracks include "Crispy", "Cash Me Out", "One Of The Hardest", "Get Busy", "Devotion", "Brand New", "The Technology", "Daddy's LG", "Hey Baby", "I Hafto", "Jihad" and the "Interview" interludes (#s 1, 2, 3 & 4).

Favorite cuts are 'Cash me out', 'In my own words', 'Take your time', 'Jihad'.
